Hello, my name is Carol Salvato. I’m a game designer and engineer, and I’m deeply passionate about games in general. I am also interested in the application of artificial intelligence to games. My primary areas of study are machine learning and cognitive systems. However, what I love doing most is transforming creativity into fun.

This is a game created during lives on twitch, where I started the development of the game with the community that not only helped with ideas and development but also had fun testing it live.

This is a gamified application that aims to promote health and longevity. In this project I worked as a Unity developer, developing mechanics and solutions, fixing bugs and managing Ad and analytics systems.

PoN! A Ilha dos Tatus

This is an educational 3D multiplayer mobile game. In this project, I primarily contributed by fixing bugs, refining the system, and implementing new mechanics and features.

Lux Ex: Cyber Initiation

A 2D vertical scrolling shooter inspired by classic arcade games. In this project, I contributed by developing new mechanics and features, fixing bugs, and proposing improvements to both the system architecture and game design.

Lux Ex: Cyber Initiation

O.U.T.T.
This is a 3D turn-based strategy game with puzzle elements and a strong narrative focus, set in a visually rich cyberpunk universe. In this project, I worked as the lead developer, responsible for developing game systems and mechanics, fixing bugs, and actively contributing to level design and puzzle creation.

Adventure of Samsara

This is a 2D platformer and adventure game with pixel art visuals, where the player explores worlds inspired by the cycle of rebirth, facing challenges and uncovering mystical secrets.

Artificial Life Game Code (ALGC) is a personal project whose objective is to carry out studies and projects to acquire skills. For that, I use resources like the blog to share information and my learning, a simple way for the general public.

PROFESSIONAL PERFIL

EXPERIENCE.

I am a researcher and developer of digital games and intelligent systems.

In my graduation in Analysis and Systems Development (IFSP), I carried out two scientific initiation projects. In the first, I created an educational game for teaching Boolean logic. In the second I developed an artificial life simulation game using genetic algorithms.

During the Postgraduate (Master’s), I studied and developed research in artificial intelligence applied to games. I studied mainly cognitive architectures and machine learning. In my project, I developed an agent capable of learning and adapting in real-time in a complex and dynamic environment.

As a professional, I aim to always grow personally and professionally. I am ambitious and very dedicated, and I always seek to improve my skills, learning more, and going beyond my comfort zone.

At Ilex games, since 2020, I worked with a team on many game development projects. My main function is as a game developer (C# programmer), testing games, fixing bugs, and developing complete solutions.
